Updates on Gunnar

Our baby boy is starting to show us his first signs of independence:

- He's starting to sit up on his own (only wobbling over on occasion!) for a moment or two
- He's started eating solid foods - so far only rice cereal, oatmeal and zucchini - he sits in the "big boy" high chair to eat!
- He can roll from his belly to his back and his back to his belly
- He laughs like you wouldn't believe (he's SUCH a happy baby!) - pretty loud!
- He's starting to "enjoy" the standing position
- He "talks" up a storm
- He seems to recognize his own name
- He sometimes plays with his feet
- He likes hanging out in his bouncer and holds his head up like a champ
- He holds and bats at toys (he's done this for a while now) and recently started putting them in his mouth (it seems he's starting to teeth!)

He was a little over 15lbs at his 4 month doctor appointment and is wearing many of the clothes that RJ did when he was 9-12 months (which is nice because our hand-me-downs are the right season!). He's a big boy, but still about the 50 percentile in weight and height!

He'll be 5 months on December 15th and we're just not sure where the time has gone . . he's growing up SO fast right before our eyes!
