We got out and enjoyed our beautiful weather a bit this weekend! Sorry all you Kentuckians as I know "white death" (thanks Missy) was upon you, but it was 80+ here!! :) So, we had to get out and enjoy it! Rob, RJ and I took met Anthony and Amber for lunch at the park on Saturday and then we went for a walk around Lake Havasu Channel. There was lots going on because the "snow birds" (retired folks from the cold north) are still here and it's the 1st week of spring break so the crazy partying boaters were all out in the channel blaring their music and their boat engines. There was a lot of energy and it was a lot of fun! RJ slept through the whole thing!! I guess the sooner we get him used to loud boat engines around here the better! We also checked out the remote control sand car racing in the park which was very cool too . . . but still RJ slept, so not sure how cool he thought it was! That evening, we went to a friend's house for a BBQ. They have a three month old little girl named Joccelyn. It too was a lot of fun, but RJ slept through the whole thing again except during his feedings (he never misses those)! One day these two will probably attend school together, but I guess RJ was willing to wait 'til then to get to know Joccelyn! LOL! :)
Sunday night, we had all our future neighbors over for a BBQ at our house - Mexican style with Carne Asada and Grilled Chicken fajitas! We introduced RJ to his future babysitters Cara and Amanda and again, he slept through it all!! It's a good thing that 'lil RJ takes after his Daddy with his big appetite for napping! Maybe we're a little biased, but we think he's about the best baby ever!! :) He's been pretty good for us so far (but we're keeping our fingers crossed)! :)
Oh and one other exciting weekend event - RJ's cord fell off Sunday morning and he has a beautiful "inny!"
