Well we received the Certificate of Occupancy yesterday for the house, so we will begin moving in this Saturday and some of next week. We are very excited, yet realistic that there's a lot of work ahead of us. With that said, we sure the blog will be neglected over the next month or so we'll try our best to keep you updated.
RJ's 1st bday is Feb 24th and we look forward to his party on the 28th as well as the visits by several family members! :)
The latest with our little fella . . . turns our he's quite the CLIMBER!!!! Yes - OH BOY!! Aren't we in luck!?!? LOL! Anyway . . . climbs on the coffee table, the stone hearth of the fireplace . . . inside the bath tub (hopefully with no water) and on and on . . . that's our little monkey - it doesn't come as much of a surprise at all!! :) Also, we ask him now to "show us the fan" and he points to the fan and then points to the switch and proceeds to turn the fan on and off (and on and off and on and off - forever if we'd let him). He also does this with the light and certainly appears to completely know the difference b/w the two. I was impressed with this level comprehension! But then again I could be a little biased! LOL! :)
Humm . . .oh and we've been without a bottle for 2 weeks now - not a problem and will begin weening off the nursing next week and may try cow's milk in a week or so (a little early but it'll be ok - he's shown no signs of allergy towards anything, eats like a piggy and has likes everything I've ever put in front of him) - it'll be close enough (I just have to get this pumping out of my work day it is VERY disruptive to my production and enough is enough!. He's been eating plain soft tofu (will get more firm next time the soft almost dissolves when he picks it up) this week as well as edamame!! That's my diversified little boy! :) I also gave him strawberries and red grapes over the last week or two which I think he's supposed to be a year for . . . but again - close enough!! He loves it ALL!! And wants MORE than we usually have in the house!! He's a growing little boy! :)
Anyway - we'll catch everyone up soon! Please keep us in your prayers that all goes as well as it can with the move. We feel very blessed and are extremely grateful to finally move into our home!! We can't wait to be settled (someday)!!
