Happy 1st Birthday RJ!!

RJ's birthday was just perfect. Ma Maw Rose and Pap Paw Mike have been in town since last Friday and his Mommy took the day off work to spend with him. We started the morning off by going to the play group at the library with lots of singing and dancing. Mrs. Celeste surprised RJ by showing up with a life size teddy bear . . . he loved it! Then, Ma Maw and Mommy took him to Walmart and later in the day we set-up this photo session for him (all the photos are on facebook if anyone is interested). It was a lot of fun and RJ even did some walking for us (the video is in the next post)! We got some really great photos and RJ seemed to totally like the icing on the cake! For the big birthday dinner we went to a local taco bar dive, sat outside (it was amazingly beautiful weather - RJ wore shorts can you believe that - how's your February weather??? - come visit us!?!?)and RJ just loved people watching and eatin' tacos. He found a couple folks to flirt with a long the way including a cutie 14 month old little girl! It was a PERFECT day and we can barely believe our little guy has now joined the ranks of the 1 year olds!! It's been THE most amazing year of our lives . . . we're changed forever, for the better, beyond what words could EVER describe! With each passing day we continue to fall more and more in love with our little fella . . . he just has THE sweetest and most likable personality in the world!

Saturday at noon will be a big birthday bash at our house and we look forward to celebrating with family and friends! Particularly, we anxiously await the arrival of Grandma M (Marianne) and Aunt Cris from California!! Have a safe trip you guys!
