Well, I think I can honestly say we're just about ready for the arrival of our little guy. Soon we will be able to say we will be having a baby "this month!" We can't believe it! 9 months seems like forever, but then again the time has flown. Rob and I are both very ready to meet our little man soon! We were able to finish putting together the car seat, stroller, pack n play and other items this weekend as well as pack for the well awaited hospital trip. We have it easy compared to most, since we're renting and are unable to paint, the nursery was pretty much a breeze. We love the jungle themed bedding and know it will look really well in our new house (and thanks to the painter who will be painting that room for us!) , but for now all we had to do is put the furniture together and put the bedding on (as if that wasn't enough)!
I still think we're pretty much on track with the due date. We had a trip to the OB on Thursday and all was well. The little guy was still head down and his heart rate had slowed to 140 (right about where they want it). Mom has now officially gained 32 pounds, her uterus measured 34 cms and she is still carrying the little guy pretty high. All in all what this means is that we're still on track for an average size baby (7 - 8 lbs) around Feb 27th . . . . 38 days and counting! LOL! :)
Now, it's pretty much a matter of waiting for the day God blesses us with the presence of our little guy. Life as we know it will chang forever, but it will be in a perfect and wonderful way. We know this no matter the horror stories we have both heard throughout the pregnancy and can't wait to get started on our adventure as parents!
